Quantcast is a web-measurement analytics tool that enables users to understand their audience better. The quality of data received from Quantcast tends to be rich and provides excellent detailed insights into the audience’s background. The data’s accuracy is shown in percentages so organizations can judge the quality of the content. Quantcast collects data directly from millions of web destinations controlled by carefully selected web publishers; this implies that the data is accurate and rich in user information. All the data the publishers collect is anonymous and contains no personally identifiable information; therefore, the end user information is completely protected. Quantcast is mainly accurate for U.S. audiences, although some large websites do offer global data. The website has quickly become more popular. Nine out of the ten media agencies, more than half of the top publishers (by ad revenue), and marketers from every major vertical use Quantcast.6
